12 Houseplants You’ll Probably Regret 

Sansevieria trifasciata, popularly known as Snake Plant and ‘Mother-in-Law’s Tongue, has been compared to the fire emoji! Has several lovely variations and produces little white flowers when ripe.

The Snake Plant

More of the tenacious twelve with wonderful names! Also called Epipremnum aureum or Pothos (nice name).Other names include ‘Devil’s Vine’ and ‘Golden Pothos’.

Devil’s Ivy

We like this one's name too. Do you think? The little bundles of mini-plants at the ends of Chlorophytum comosum's runners give it this arachnid name. Snake and spider plants have similar hues.

Spider Plant

Sounds like an indoor plant you need, right? In their natural habitat, Dracaena marginate can grow very huge, but in a container in your home, it will fill out nicely, look beautiful, and require little care.

Aloe barbadensis, a succulent, may have grown wild on Thai beaches or Australian sand dunes when you were on vacation and utilised its gel to treat sunburn.

The Bromeliaceae family of luxuriant plants blooms in brilliant colours. They like humidity but not temperature. They need well-draining soil or mix.

Kalanchoe blossfeldiana loves independence, making it ideal for neglectors. They live on windowsills and have red, yellow, orange, white, and pink blossoms! A little water every two weeks works.

Crassula ovata is mysterious and supposed to bring luck. They need only some sunlight and watering when they dry up and are thick and lovely.

Beaucarnea recurvata, a visually appealing player that grows to about a metre indoors, prefers succulent potting mix with sand. Water phobia!

Recently popular indoor plant: Zamioculcas zamiifolia. This plant is great for the home office due to its attractive leaves and growth. Trim if it becomes too big for its position. TLC-free.
