Cool Weather Vegetables to Grow in Fall 

Leaf, romaine and butterhead lettuce favour cooler temps. These fast-maturing plants can be cultivated in pots or garden beds for numerous autumn harvests.

This nutrient-rich green thrives in chilly conditions. Give it well-drained soil and full sun or slight shade. For optimal flavour, harvest spinach leaves fresh and tender.

This robust green can withstand frost and cold. Curly, Lacinato, and Red Russian kale are available. Kale leaves can be picked autumn and winter.
