Delicious Peach Cobbler Recipe

– 4 cups peaches  – ½ cup sugar – 2 tablespoon cornstarch – 1 tablespoon lemon zest – 1 tablespoon lemon juice – ½ cup butter – 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1 tablespoon baking powder – ¼ teaspoon salt – ½ cup sugar – 1 large egg – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 cup milk

Pre-heat the oven to 375℉. Over medium heat, combine peaches, sugar, cornflour, lemon zest, and juice in a saucepan.

Stir frequently as the mixture bubbles for 5 minutes to soften the peaches.

Evenly distribute butter cubes in a 9x9-inch baking dish. Leave in the preheated oven until butter melts and bubbles.

Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, egg, vanilla, and milk in a bowl until no flour remains.

Pour batter into melted butter-filled baking dish. Pour peaches over batter evenly.

Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 40–45 minutes until the cobbler topping is firm and golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
