High-protein cookie recipes are a tasty way to get more protein while enjoying a sweet treat. Dietitians recommend these two high-protein cookie recipes for slimming:  

Ingredients – 1 cup almond butter – 1/2 cup coconut sugar or sweetener of choice – 1 egg – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional) – Protein powder

1. Almond Butter Protein Cookies

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheet with parchment. Mix almond butter, coconut sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Add chocolate chips or nuts if desired.  


Fork-flatten dough on prepared baking sheet. Bake until sides are golden brown, 8-10 minutes. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to finish cooling after a few minutes on the baking sheet.  


Ingredients – 1 1/2 cups almond flour – 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder – 1/4 cup almond butter – 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup – 1 egg – 1 tsp vanilla extract

2. Almond Flour Protein Cookies 

Warm the oven up to 175°F (350°F). Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together well. Make balls out of the dough and put them on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper.  


With the palm of your hand, press down on each ball. Place in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown. Wait until it's cool to serve.
