Healthy Lamb Souvlaki Recipe 

Start the fire for this delicate and luscious Lamb Souvlaki! This souvlaki melts in your tongue with perfectly seasoned lamb grilled to perfection!  

– 2 pounds lamb  – ½ cup lemon juice  – 3 tablespoons olive oil – ½ teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper – 1 tablespoon dried oregano – 3 cloves garlic  – 1 medium onion – ½ teaspoon ground cumin

Ingredient

Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and ground cumin in a large bowl.

After adding the lamb cubes to the bowl, stir everything together until the meat is well covered in marinade.

After two hours or up to twenty-four hours, cover and refrigerate. Get the grill ready. Warm up a barbecue or a grill pan.

To prevent the meat from sticking, drizzle some olive oil onto the grill pan. Put the meat onto skewers made of metal.

Make careful to soak bamboo skewers in water for around half an hour before using.

Cook the meat on the skewers for 8 to 10 minutes, or until done to your preference. Accompany with Greek salad, pita bread, and tzatziki sauce.
