How To Moisturise Your Skin Based On Your Skin Type

Effective skin moisturization relies on skin type. A complete guide to choosing and applying the proper moisturiser for each skin type is here.

Normal Skin

Use hypoallergenic, fragrance-free moisturiser. Aloe vera, chamomile, and oat extract soothe. Before using a new product on your face, patch test.

Dry Skin

Choose a creamy moisturiser. Find ceramides, shea butter, and oils (jojoba, argan). Apply moisturiser shortly after showering to retain moisture.

Oily Skin

A lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturiser won't clog pores. Look for water- and oil-free formulations. Salicylic acid and niacinamide reduce oil.

Combination Skin

Use a gentle, balanced moisturiser. Use milder T-zone products and richer cheek products. Glycerin and hyaluronic acid hydrate without weight.

Sensitive Skin

Use hypoallergenic, fragrance-free moisturiser. Aloe vera, chamomile, and oat extract soothe. Before using a new product on your face, patch test.
