The Best Tomato Tortellini Soup Recipe 

This Tomato Tortellini Soup is comforting. A creamy, thick, cheesy tortellini soup. Great for busy weeknights, this soup is done in about 30 minutes!  

– 1 tablespoon olive oil – 1 small onion – 15 ounce fire roasted tomatoe – 10 ounce tomato soup – 1 cup milk – 5 basil leave – 8 ounce chicken broth – ¼ cup half and half – 6 ounce tortellini


Heat the olive oil in a soup pot or Dutch oven. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they become transparent and tender.  


Stir and boil for five minutes after adding the fire-roasted tomatoes, tomato soup, milk, basil, and chicken broth to the saucepan.  


Stir the tortellini and half-and-half into the soup pot, then heat for an additional five to six minutes, or until the tortellini is done.  


A garnish of more basil and Parmesan cheese should be placed on each individual soup bowl before serving.
