Easiest Two Ingredient Lemon Bar Recipe
Even though we all have extremely hectic lives, we still have time to prepare some delectable treats. For those with hectic schedules who barely have time to prepare the two components for the dessert bars and pop them in the oven, this recipe is ideal. I adore this dish because it just requires two ingredients, is low cost to prepare, and takes less than five minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 box Angel Food Cake Mix (Must be the one step angel food cake mix where you only add water).
- 1 can Lemon cream pie filling
- Powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
Set the oven temperature to 350.
Grease or spray a 9 by 13 baking dish.
Mix the cake mix and lemon cream together in a bowl until thoroughly blended.
After transferring to the baking dish, bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Take out of the oven and allow it cool fully. Cut into 24 bars and, if desired, dust with powdered sugar. Have fun!

Notes
Add some vanilla (or ordinary) whipped cream to the dish when serving!
To REALLY bring up the citrus flavours in the batter, try adding some lemon zest and a couple teaspoons of lemon juice.
A lemon-raspberry combination would be amazing if you tried adding fresh raspberries on the top of the bars.
Present the bars alongside a tiny portion of blueberry ice cream.

What Do These Lemon Bars Taste Like?
Given the cake mix and the lemon crème pie filling, you would expect that these simple lemon bars would be extremely sugary, but surprise, they aren’t!
They have a texture that is a cross between a thicker angel food cake and a gooey pecan pie, and they are light and lemony. I can also say they are delicious, but that’s just the best way I can put it! especially considering it just contains two ingredients.
What’s the Best Way to Make These Dessert Bars?
It’s basically three directions, buddy!
Take out a 9 x 13 baking dish for yourself. Apply grease on it.
Combine the two items and stir to combine.
